Process
Follow these steps to complete this book!
Groups: You will break into groups of four people.
Member 1: Responsible for making sure every part of the project is complete as well as being the leader of the group, helping students find more work to do if needed. In charge of the bibliography.
Member 2 and 3: These members are the main researchers. They will do most of the researching work.
Member 4: This member will be the perfectionist of the group. They will complete the title page and make sure that all of the pages are as pretty and prepared as they can be.

Task 1: Form a title page! Someone in your group must create a title and title page to start your book. (Member 4)
Task 2: You will need to research at least 8 animals. After researching an animal you will need to upload at least two pictures to each page and describe the animal. Divide this work up between group members to get all of the work complete. (Each member does two animals)

Task 4: The next 3 pages in you group need to be about different bodies of water. Someone in your group must research ocean bodies where these sea plants and animals can be found. You must include pictures and information about these different bodies of water.Use these links!

Task 5: Create a bibliography with all of the resources that you used in your book. (Member 1)
Student/Teacher Conferences: Before you begin the last stages of preparation you will be meeting with me in your groups. I will check on your progress as well as you group chemistry, making sure that all of your work is getting done and that everyone is doing their job as they should be! After meeting with me then you will be able to go back and fix the things that you wish before preparing to present to Miss Long's class.
Task 6: Prepare to present your book to the other class!!
Accommodations
Gifted students: You are the leader of your group. You are required to go back over everyones work and make sure that they are giving enough information. You will take one extra animal in the list of animals to present as well. When your work is completed there will also be books you can read in the classroom, if those books are added into your bibliography your group can get extra credit.
ELL: Translator apps will be available as usual. You may also have someone in your group speak for you in your presentation if you wish.
